## Installation

1. Completely exit the game.

2. Backup your save files. Your local save is located in the Steam directory `userdata/<account folder>/582010/remote/SAVEDATA1000`; you can copy the entire `582010` folder to another location.

3. Merge the `nativePC` folder from the release package into the game's root directory. The only new plugin file should be:

Monster Hunter WorldnativePCpluginsSimpleQuestComplete.dll

4. Launch the game. The plugin will generate `SimpleQuestComplete.log` in the same directory. If you see `READY` in the log, it means this version has passed the function entry check and the plugin is enabled.

Do not put the DLL into `plugins/CSharp`. Do not overwrite the entire `nativePC` or `plugins` folder. Existing mods like shop or drop display can be kept; this does not mean compatibility with all mods has been verified.

- Once you've entered a quest and can control your character, briefly press Home: it will complete the current valid quest target count and request the game to settle it successfully.

- After the quest complete message shows and the return-to-base countdown appears, release and press Home again: it will advance the return timer, skipping the remaining wait.

- You can also press Home to skip waiting after manually completing the quest.

- Not pressing Home will not complete the quest automatically. Holding it down will not trigger repeatedly; there must be at least 0. 75 seconds between two valid presses.

- The plugin does not respond while the game is minimized; upon returning, if Home is held down, you must release and press it again.

- It will not complete operations at the title, hub, when not in a quest, or if the quest fails; free exploration cannot be treated as a completable quest.

"Skip waiting" only skips the return-to-base countdown while still keeping the game’s loading, reward collection, and result screens intact; it does not automatically click to collect or skip all settlement screens. Keyboards with Home/Fn combinations must use the actual keystroke that generates Home.
