📋 About This Mod

Update 1. 2:

I have reworked and significantly improved the animations, the sliding/floaty legs is no longer an issue anymore, and all parts of the body should move properly without much abnormalities. 4 new custom poses have been added, they replace:

  • []Crossed Arms

    []Kneel

    []Genuflect

    []For honor!

These poses have a style similar to the previous game MHW, where there is a short motion before the final pose.

Optional update for those who want the hip sway dance, it's sort of like the dance from infamous ME!ME!ME!(but not quite). I've made 3 versions currently, the short, the long and the alternative. You must have obtained the For The Fans gesture DLC! This dance replaces For The Fans 1 gesture.

Short version is pretty explanatory, it's just a short version of the dance, which is about 15 seconds, and it loops this whole dance infinitely.

Long version is the version I edited myself. I attempted to loop the hip sway part of the short version by duplicating the keyframes and editing the curves to smooth out any twitchy movements. I am by no means a professional animator, but I did my best here. So there might still be some odd keyframe skipping here and there but it's mostly smooth enough.

Alternative version is the one that takes advantage of the game's start, loop, and end system for gestures. Basically, the alternative version replaces the gesture start, loop and end animations. The start being the beginning part of the dance, the looping part is the side to side hip sway, and the ending part is the rest of the dance animation. You can loop the hip sway infinitely with the alt version as long as you don't cancel the gesture.

Bad news:

Now that there is more information about the motlist IDs, I regret to inform everyone that pretty much most if not all of the base game gestures and poses are squeezed into a single motlist file. Basically, there will be absolutely zero choice to which custom animations you want to have, and anything I happen to upload or update, will remain as is. So if you don't want to have a certain animation, that's just too bad, as I would not be able to make another file that removes this animation since I don't want to be fulfilling dozens of requests for several different versions. Sadly, you either live with all of the animations in the mod, or none of it, there is no in-between.

Does that mean I won't be doing DLC gestures and poses? Well no, I will still change some DLC gestures and poses, but it's obviously not ideal as not everyone will have those DLC gestures and poses. And there are only finite number of DLC gestures and poses, so it will eventually run out too. So please do not make requests like 'can I have an
