📋 About This Mod
This simple REFramework mod adds a configurable delay (5 minutes by default) between the autosaves that happen upon interacting with most things in the village. The autosaves that prevent you from interacting with anything else, or even seeing speech bubbles, for several seconds. The ones that leave you twiddling your thumbs because six NPCs want to have 10 conversations with you, and maybe this NPC has a second one, and you'd feel silly if you started walking away just to have to turn around.
Technically, it's a delay after any successful save until the next autosave may occur, but close enough.
This mod only affects the autosaves in the "village" areas (Kamura, its sub-areas, and Elgado). It does not affect post-quest autosaves, manual saves, and saving on quit.
Note that there's a couple other ways to avoid autosaves:
-
[]Go into options, turn off autosaves, and try not to forget to turn them back on, since you do want them on
[
]Walk to the quest counter, mash through accepting a quest, then abandon it when you're ready to do a real one
The delay is configurable in REFramework's Script Generated UI, between 0 and 30 minutes. 0 minutes effectively disables it.
