This is currently a REPLACEMENT mod at THIS time, which means that it won't work with mods that modify the same files (as detailed below).

A merge version (which merely combines with other mods) is in process. It'll be up when i get time to properly check all changes while using the merge method.

Installation:

You need Mewtator to run this this mod. Drop it in the designated "mods" folder, then enable the mod and run the game from within Mewtator.

It performs the following tweaks:  

-- special_events.gon

--- Replaced forced event (EVENT_TRAGEDY_REW19) that grants blood frenzy with a random disease.

--- Replaced forced event (EVENT_TRAGEDY_REW20) that causes a random injury with one that inflicts jinxed (-1 luck).

-- misc_events.gon

- Amigara fault event (CatHole) can no longer return your cat as an enemy, they gain a random magic disorder instead.

-- monster.gon

--- Ball of flesh event no longer forces you to try again every time you get a common fail. But you loose 8 HP when it happens (up from 5 HP).

- Mutations

-- legs.gon

--- Removed the "bird" tag from the "Crow Leg" and "Wing Legs 2" mutations (prevents the Birdemic weather from turning your own cats against you)

-- tail.gon

--- Removed the "bird" tag from the "Tail Feather" mutation

-- parasites.gon

--- Naegleria Fowleri no longer makes you start fights downed when at 0 intelligence (you can get this forcibly equipped at random)

--- Malaria now only lowers constitution and spawns 3 swarms of flies (up from 2)

- Abilities

-- special_enemy_abilities.gon

--- Dybbuk's posession now also grants injury immunity.

--- Dybbuk's escape ability can now trigger any time they are trapped, instead of once per fight (no more caging them into corners).

--- Bats now hit 2 times instead of 4 and have a 30% chance to confuse (down from 50%) and 30% chance to bleed. They also deal +1 damage.

--- Crater Maker's infinite range scream now deals 2 damage (down from 7) and 20% chance to stun (down from 30%). Has a 50% chance to confuse but can no longer immobilize.

--- Crater Maker's cross puke now only deals stat based damage (9) instead of 4 + stat (usually 13) but applies 2 poison (up from 1).

--- Crater Maker's rampage now deals stat based damage (9) instead of 3 + stat (usually 12). Has a 25% chance to stun instead of 50% chance to immobilize.

-- colorless_abilities.gon

--- Russian Shorthair Roulette now gives an All Stats Up on top of its regular benefits, and 2-4 coins (up from 1-2). It's upgrade gives 2 All Status Up and 4-6 coins (up from 2-4

- Characters

-- bosses.gon

--- Dybbuk now gains a set 4 dodges each round instead of dodging every attack, they can't go above 4.

--- Dybuk's health has been raised to 104 (from 85)

-- enemies.gon

--- Bats no longer have dodge.

-- druid_friends.gon

- Removed the "bird" tag from the druid's crow

-- classes.gon and advanced_classes.gon

--- All classes now get a single free re-roll when levelling up (inspired by MayaC's "Reroll Level ups" mod)

- Item pools

--- Tinkerer's weapon crafting pools have been trimmed down significantly.
