📋 About This Mod
This mod is a framework to allow easy side-loading of new files for Mass Effect 1 LE. On it's own, the framework does nothing, but it allows mods to load new dialogues, clutter, NPCs, console commands, and more in existing areas with almost zero compatibility issues.
This mod is now included as a part of the LE1 Community Patch, and should not be installed from this mod page. This page is kept up to date with the latest version so that users who inadvertently update this mod will still have a working streaming system.
Bugs in the framework may manifest as:
-
[]Stuttering on load
[
]Unexpected blocking loads ("Loading..." modal shows up) where there previously were none[]Game crashes
[]Files unexpectedly streaming out (objects and areas disappear, any running dialogue cuts out)
Please report any bugs you encounter on the LE1 Community Patch mod page.
Installation:
-
[]Install the framework with ME3Tweaks Mod Manager. Manual installation is not possible.
[
]You can verify this mod is installed by checking the "Modified basegame files" tab in the Manage Target window. SFXGame.pcc should be modified.[]To update to a newer version, simply reinstall the mod. Work has been done to ensure re-installation should not break your game.
[]If updating from 0. 6 to 0. 7+, some functions and tables will be leftover from the 0. 6 version in Engine.pcc and SFXGame.pcc. These are not referenced and serve no purpose, and can be safely ignored. You may want to vanilla your game first to get rid of these, but there should be zero affect.
To uninstall this mod, restore SFXGame.pcc from your backup. You will need to reinstall any other mods that modify this file.
