Private Message Terminal (LE1)

FEATURES

• []Adds a private message terminal in the control center of the Normandy (on the right of the Galaxy Map). As of v1. 1, a second terminal is available in the Captain's Office of the Normandy. They both have the same functionality: the emails can be read from either location.
  • []Besides the terminal itself, this mod only includes a single email. So it does not do much for the player, but serves as a Framework for any mod author to add emails or other messages into the game.
    • []Mod authors can customize the exact moment when the player should receive any email, and potential plot consequences or other rewards (e.g. XP or credits) after reading it. Messages that require a choice from the player (e.g. Authorize vs. Ignore, like the Spectre Terminal in ME3) are also possible, with customizable consequences for each choice.
      • []At the moment, due to limited interface options, each message can only be read once by the player. It is not possible to browse older messages. But this will probably be updated later. The current system and data format has been thought out to ensure forward compatibility.
