Overview
That orange cursor you select stuff with now moves faster (or slower) by whatever amount you choose in the installer. Saves a little time, and makes it quicker to skim for those hidden asteroids. A pretty simple follow-up to Shorter (or Skipped) Galaxy Map Jump and FTL Cutscenes that has the same goal of making the galaxy map slightly less time-wastey.
This is a ME3Tweaks merge mod. Thanks to 55tumbl for their tutorial on this sort of thing (though it turned out not to be a value in a 2DA table I needed to edit anyway) and their mod Faster Normandy (LE2) which pointed me in the right direction of what to modify and how to modify it with ME3Tweaks.
Motion blur on the cursor not included. That's faked in Photopea, for illustration. I don't know how to 'screenshot' this kind of mod lmao.
Variants
You can pick various speeds between 0. 5x and 10. 0x vanilla, with most granularity around 1. 0x - 2. 0x. The default for the mod is 2. 0x.
Compatibility
This is a merge mod which edits a single float, so it should broadly be compatible with everything. It definitely works with Galaxy Map Trackers (LE1), Shorter (or Skipped) Galaxy Map Jump and FTL Cutscenes and Smoother GUI (LE1) which I recommend for additional galaxy map Quality of Life.
