📋 About This Mod
New Allies:
Aria T'Loak returns as a squadmate during the Armax Arena if you have bought her ally licence from the reward terminals, and is only available to purchase after you've completed the Omega DLC missions. She will retain her skills from the DLC missions, and can continue to level up by playing through the Armax Arena missions. SirCxyrtyx, who made the Aria mod for OT, was very kind and allowed me to remake her mod and incorporate it into AEM.
If you have recruited Doctor Chakwas or Doctor Michel, they will also be an option to use. They share the same ability set, but you may only have access to the one you have recruited to the Normandy.
Finally, Major Kirrahe has been added as the final squadmate to use!
New Combat Sets:
Armax Expansion Mod adds new combat sets full of enemies to fight - CAT6 Mercenaries and Thorian Creepers. CAT6 Mercs using a three wave pattern similar to the other enemy combat sets, and are now backed up by Rampart Mechs. Thorian Creepers also follow a three wave pattern, but instead they are like a zombie swarm that gives a feel of a survival battle.
These are the last combat sets that I will be adding to the mod as I have run out of space to adequately add more of them.
Other Changes:
With a mod like this, there are always other changes. For example, I have made it so EDI can be used in the Armax mission to use Alliance squadmates. Though she isn't officially a soldier of the Alliance, she is a warship of the Alliance, so it feels fair. I've also made it so you can purchase the remaining Cerberus armour outfits from the Gold store -after- you have been rewarded the first one.
FAQ:
Is v1. 2. 0 the final release?
Probably not. There are definitely going to be bug fixes down the line, but whether I add additional content is currently unknown. I would love to write a few more missions that would incorporate the new combat sets and squadmates but I have no plans just yet. We will see how it goes
What enemies are add by this mod?
CAT6 Atlas, CAT6 Specialist, CAT6 Heavy and CAT6 Sniper make up the bulk of the CAT6 forces, with the Rampart Mech from Omega DLC joining them. At this time the Thorians forces consider purely of Thorian Creeperrs, but in time I hope to add the Asari Clone and potentially other enemies to their list.[/si
