Removes the ugly glowing blob around torches and massively improves scenes where portable torches are lit.

This mod has now been reworked and implemented as an alternative version for the mod: Better Torches.

One of the things that has been a gripe for me since launch is how torches have this very ugly glow from a distance.

Not anymore! This makes torches still light the environment as they do, except they do not have this hideous glow anymore.

Take note: it might be harder to spot torcher from afar because you will have to look for actual lit environment instead of an orange balloon.

But an image speaks louder than words!

Extract the contents of the .zip file to your ../Mods folder.

Delete the folder torchglowbegone from your ../Mods folder.

Should be compatible with any game version, only tested on 1. 2. 2. Mod manifest is version agnostic.

Compatible with any other mod.

I have not noticed any performance impact.

Use Vortex or manual.
