HUD Map - Minimap and Compass

I've always wanted to have a small map displayed directly on the HUD while playing, so I decided to make one.

There was an earlier attempt to create a minimap for Gothic 1 Remake on NexusMods, but it appears the project was never completed, so I decided to implement it myself.

Skin Support

Mod authors are free to create and publish their own skins without any restrictions. Just link to this mod page as the required dependency.

Save your skin settings in the file:

skins\<rings|squares>\<skin>\config.txt

Installation

• []This mod requires the latest experimental version of UE4SS. To use the live configuration commands, the standard ConsoleEnablerMod must also be enabled. To make the installation and future UE4SS updates as simple as possible, I highly recommend installing UE4SS-Bootstrap (Auto Updater) first.[/]

  []Copy the HUDMap folder to:

  ...\G1R\Binaries\Win64 (or WinGDK)\ue4ss\Mods\The resulting structure should look like this:
