Gothic is Beautiful (a Reshade Preset)

Description

To make the Colony more alive, vibrant color is needed. So, here it is.

NOTE 1

I AM USING GAMMA 2. 2 WITH +30 BRIGHTNESS IN-GAME SETTING. IF THE VISUAL APPEAR TO BE DIFFERENT FROM YOUR IMAGE, MAKE SURE YOU SET THE GAMMA TO 2. 2, AND UPLIFT THE BRIGHTNESS TO ANYTHING MATCH TO YOUR LIKING.NOTE 2

IN SOME IMAGES, I DISABLED VOLUMETRIC FOG JUST FOR REFERENCE COMPARISON.

IF YOU WONDER HOW I DISABLED VOLUMETRIC FOG, WHILE YOU'RE IN-GAME, PRESS THE TILDE BUTTON (~) AND TYPE "r.volumetricfog 0".

Installation instructions

This is a ReShade Preset, so, you need to install ReShade first.

Step 1 - Install ReShade

• []Download ReShade from  ReShade Home[/]

  []Open the setup, select Gothic 1 Remake and select DirectX 10/11/12[/]

  []In the select effect to install menu, click "Uncheck all" twice so every effect is downloaded[/]

  []Click Next, and Finish.[/]

Step 2 - Install this mod

• []Download this mod with Manual Download[/]

  []Extract the content into the G1R\Binaries\Win64 where the "G1R-Win64-Shipping.exe" is located[/]

  []Open the game, press Home in keyboard to open ReShade Menu[/]

  []Follow or skip the tutorial.[/]

  []Open the dropdown menu so you could choose the "GothicIsBeautiful.ini"[/]

  Main features

  It alter the color tone mainly to be more vibrant. Negligible performance loss.
