Gothic 1 Remake First Person Camera

What does it do?

This UE4SS C++ mod adds a custom true first-person camera attached to the player's head. No low effort camera hacks here. The original character mesh is hidden while retaining full shadow rendering and a synchronized duplicate mesh with its head bone removed is used to prevent visual clipping. The mod also features a custom first-person lock-on system that centers and tracks targets, allows player orbiting, and supports target switching via mouse movement. Although rendering two meshes has a performance cost, the implementation has been optimized to reduce overhead as much as possible.

Known Issues: 

If you encounter issues with 0. 29. 1, use 0. 28. 0.

How to install:

First make sure that you have the latest UE4SS experimental build installed.

Extract G1RFP.zip to the root folder of the game (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Gothic 1 Remake)

It should also be vortex friendly should you wish to install that way.

How to uninstall:

Delete the G1RFP folder from the mods folder inside the ue4ss directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Gothic 1 Remake\G1R\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods)

How to use:

Toggle between third person and first person while in game with the OEM_PLUS (Re-bindable) key which is the key with "=" next to backspace. 

You can configure the keybind, first person FOV and other settings in the G1RFP.ini or use the console command FOV 100 for instance.
