The Nabradian Lament

Story

Two years after the fall of Nabudis, the spirits of the kingdom's finest defenders remain bound to the toxic mists of the Deadlands, their minds corrupted by the Grand Marshal Heidrich.

An acolyte at Mt Bur-Omisace, Lyanna, holds the Censer of the Betrothed—a silver thurible capable of guiding these lost souls to the Light. She tasks you with venturing into the ash-choked swamps of Nabreus Deadlands to find the steles of the fallen, lay their spirits to rest, and confront the shadow that keeps Nabradia in eternal mourning.

Quest progression

To begin the quest, speak to Acolyte Lyanna at the Temple Grounds in Mt Bur-Omisace.

She will grant you the Censer of the Betrothed. You must then venture into the Nabreus Deadlands to find three ancient steles and defeat the corrupted knights guarding them.

Sir Kenneth, the Oathbreaker (Slumbermead)

• []Sir Kenneth guards the Stele of the Unbroken Vow. A defensive juggernaut who fights with a spear, using blocks and heavy thrusts that inflict Disable and Immobilize.[/]

• []Archmage Kaelen guards the Stele of the Lost Vanguard. A battlemage wielding a sword, utilizing rapid elemental magic and spells that drain party MP.[/]

• []Lady Beatrice guards the Stele of the Fallen Sovereign—an agile combatant with a high combo rate, utilizing Holy-infused strikes that inflict Sap and Disease.[/]

  The Final Confrontation

  Once the three steles are cleared and their Remembrances collected, you must travel to the Field of the Fallen to confront Grand Marshal Heidrich.

  The Grave-Wyrm: During the battle, Heidrich will summon a massive undead dragon to defend him.

  Crimson Storm: Heidrich's ultimate attack is a violent gust of dark red wind carrying screaming skulls, dealing devastating damage that scales based on your party's current HP and active debuffs.

  Rewards

  Defeating the Grand Marshal and returning to Lyanna at Mt Bur-Omisace concludes the quest. She will reward you with:

  • []Vanguard's Oath: The weapon of Sir Kenneth. High physical attack and evasion, with a chance to slow targets on hit.[/]

    []Cinder-Brand: The weapon of Archmage Kaelen. Boosts magic power and inflicts Oil on hit.[/]

    []Sovereign's Pride: The weapon of Lady Beatrice. Features high combo rates and scales damage with the wielder's Speed.[/]

    []Grave Lord's Lance: The weapon of Heidrich. Dark elemental lance that drains HP on hit and deals bonus damage based on the number of debuffs active on the target.[/]

  New Mechanic

  In the new update 1. 1. 0, the bosses can now be afflicted with status effects, but only after building them up.

  It works similarly to the Dark Souls series, where you need to hit the target and reach a certain amount to apply the status.

  You can apply the following status:

  Sleep, Confuse, Stop, Blind, Poison, Silence, Sap, Oil, Immobilize, and Slow.

  Installation Methods:
