Orderkeeper - Improved Sorting

Orderkeeper gives the inventory a Sort window that carries every order there is, and remembers the one you picked for each list.

Sort weapons by Attack Power, loot by price, magicks by power, key items by name, and find them there again the next time you open the menu.

Nothing is added or removed from your inventory. Only the order changes.

How It Works

Open any inventory list and press the Sort button the game already shows. The window opens where the game's own does, with the whole set of orders instead of the two or three the game offers.

Pick one and the list is sorted at once, with the cursor left on the item you were looking at. That choice is remembered for that list.

Every list gets a name order

The game has no alphabetical order at all. Key Items runs to 99 entries and Magicks to 81, both in an order only the designers can read. Name puts them in the order you would look for them in.

Sort by the attribute you name

Equipment and abilities offer every attribute their entries actually carry, read from the game's own data rather than guessed.

  An attribute an item does not carry ranks it last rather than ranking it on the wrong number, so a helm never sorts by a weapon's field. An ability's Power counts its multiplier too, so a technick that multiplies its power ranks by the multiplied value.

  Sort by price

  Items, Loot and every equipment list can be sorted by price, the most valuable first or the other way round, which makes it quick to see what is worth selling.

  New items land in their place

  When something new enters a list, from a chest, a steal or a shop, the list is put back into its order right away. It shows up where it belongs everywhere the list is shown, the battle menu included, without opening the inventory first.

  The game's own orders are left alone

  Auto-sort and Strength are the orders the game ships with, and they run exactly the way it runs them, in the direction it uses. Everything else can go either way.

  Configuration

  Mod Config Menu Compatible.

  Everything can be set in Mod Config > Orderkeeper - Improved Sorting.

    []Sort mode, one setting per list. Automatic puts the list back into its chosen order when the menu opens and when something new enters it. Manual leaves it the way you arrange it, and the Sort window still works on it[/]

    Your choice per list is saved with the mod and persists between sessions, which the game's own sort does not do.

    If you already have a mod manager, skip straight to the files section. Otherwise, there are a few ways to install it.
