Minuteman Watchtowers

Minuteman Watchtowers (Redux) scatters 8 explorable watchtowers across the Commonwealth, containing loot, a vantage point, and at later levels Minutemen. Long before the Sole Survivor stepped out of Vault 111, the Minutemen watched over the Commonwealth and helped protect its people. Watchtowers aided in this effort as they looked over settlements from up high, being able to spot emergency flares from almost anywhere. Mostly around the borders of the Commonwealth, these watchtowers look over vast land areas. In the year 2287, these watchtowers remain dormant after the Minutemen fell at the hands of the Gunners - at least until the Sole Survivor helps Preston and his entourage take back the castle. At this point, Minutemen will be directed to retake the towers. It does not break precombines, and edits navmesh in affected cells.

For those unaware, this is a complete ground-up remake of a mod I made for Fallout 4 early on. This redux version aims to address some of the requests and issues of the original mod while retaining everything that made it great. Users of the old mod might be surprised to see the loot is far less valuable, a decision that was made to aid in keeping progression balanced.

Naturally, this mod adds new locations and geometry into the game world. There is a chance that this could conflict with other mods that edit the same areas. Such mods could add other locations, flora overhauls such as BNS, or even quest mods affecting the area as navmesh has been remade in affected cells. I do not plan on making patches, however, perms are open for those who wish to so long as this mod remains a requirement.
