📋 About This Mod
What it does:
If like me you find it annoying that the vanilla bridge snaps to absolutely nothing but other bridges, then this mod is for you. It changes basically three things:
-
[]changes the snap nodes of the bridges, so they snap to floors, stairs, etc
[
]adds four additional snap nodes to the sides of the bridges[]adds two additional wooden bridges to the misc crafting menu
That means you can snap the bridges to floors, stairs, etc. Furthermore you can now snap the same to the sides of two of the bridges (the other one is to small). These snap nodes are sometimes a bit rebellious. If you have problems placing a railing, try using a small floor first.
All bridges that you have already placed in your settlements will automatically being updated.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust with 9,207 endorsements and over 325k downloads
- Makes bridge placement way less finicky—snapping to floors and stairs is a game-changer for settlement builds
- The extra side snap nodes open up creative building options that vanilla doesn't allow
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2016—likely not tested with newer Fallout 4 updates or DLC, so compatibility could be an issue
- Only adds two new bridge pieces, so if you're looking for a massive content pack, this isn't it
- No documentation provided for installation or load order, so you're on your own if something goes wrong
For Fallout 4 settlement builders who spend hours perfecting their bases and want smoother bridge placement. If you're tired of bridges not snapping where you want them, this mod is a must-have. Skip if you want new building materials or major overhauls—this is a focused utility mod.
