Fortune Finder 4 Fix

As it says - trying to hunt for those caps after a firefight is just dumb. Yet they'll probably sit in your savefile forever, just a-waitin' for you to find them.

Screw that. Put the caps straight in your pocket - since the whole Fortune Finder 4 explosion of caps perk is absolutely 110% immersive and all. Same for the Bottlecap Mines.

Only two versions now supplied.

Because I cannot be bothered going through the process of: update to NextGen + re-compiling + re-archiving + re-uploading for 4 different versions.

Guaranteed to make a balls-up of it.

Basic + Bottlecap Mine:

Basic amounts of caps, put straight into your pocket. No scrabbling around in the dark!

Enhanced + Bottlecap Mine:

Your character is Level 40+. You've just put a 4th perk point into Fortune Finder. Yeah, you find even more caps in containers - and every time it proc's you find yourself scrabbling around the battlefield in search of 15-23 caps. (That's what the vanilla game and the basic version gives you.)

Screw that. Make it worth investing 40+ levels and 4 perk points.

Make it rain, baby.

(Also adds the caps from Bottlecap Mines to your pocket. 10x normal, or 150-230 caps (15-23 x10), straight into your pocket. Plays the sound file.)

Q: How you do dis?

A: It's a tweaked and recompiled FortuneFinderCapsScript with an empty esl-tagged esp file. That's so it will pick up the archived files - no loose files cluttering up your folders - without wasting a precious mod slot. (Any compiled loose file will override this mod, though the chances are nearly zerch that anyone is gonna be messing with this perk anyway.) Instead of throwing the caps on the ground - off in the distance yet, not even at your feet - the script will add them to your pocket. Pathetically small source code included.

The Bottlecap Mine version also has a script that I placed on the dropped caps. That script will add the caps to the player's pocket, play the SWF file, and remove the placed caps from the world.

Q: Hang on - only 15-23 caps for the vanilla version?

A: Yeah. Bloody near worthless waste of a perk point, yah? Don't scrabble around in the muck for a fistful of caps. Feel free to change and recompile it to give 1000x or 10000x the normal amount of caps. Really make it rain.
