Faster File Copy

What does this do?

This mod is a port of my Skyrim mod which memory maps and stores BA2 files decompressed while you play. This allows the game to skip decompression and copy files directly from RAM on subsequent loads, which improves loading times during play.

How to use

Please note: This mod stores your decompressed BA2 files in <Your Game Dir>\Data\F4SE\Plugins\FasterFileCopyFO4_cache (or your Overwrite dir if you use MO2). Cache size is 2. 5 GB by default. Make sure that total cache size is not more than +/- 25% of your RAM. If you run into any problems, you can try to use bCompatibilityMode = true, which is a bit slower than the default mode, but reduces the footprint of the mod.
