📋 About This Mod

DESCRIPTION:

it replaces all loading screens, both base game and mod added, with your own images. Has features to generate the textures from your own images, as well as configure what loading screen to use what image via the whitelist feature in its INI.

Default supported aspect ratio is 16:9, but there are options to support 21:9 and 32:9, as well as an option to hide any text in loading screens.

Allows up to 456 unique images to replace all load screens!

REQUIREMENTS/INSTALLATION:

WORKS ON OG (1. 10. 163), and AE (1. 11. 221, 1. 11. 240)

Thereotically works on NG (  1. 10. 984), but I did not actually test this (move on from NG already)

- INSTALL F4SE for your Fallout 4 Version

- INSTALL Address Library

-Choose options in the FOMOD (Ultra Wide (21:9) , Super Ultra Wide (32:9), or no text)

HOW TO USE:

-Put Images (Supported formats are ".jpg", ".jpeg", ".jfif",".png", ".dds", ".bmp", ".tif", ".tiff") files in your ImageSourcePath (default is  F4SE\Plugins\ALR_Image_Dir). It will grab up to 456 random images in this path to generate.

-Launch the game, it will generate texture files of your images in Textures\Interface\ALR_Backgrounds (overwrite dir for MO2 users) and dynamically randomly replace all load screens with them!

-set  EnableLoadingScreenGeneration to false in F4SE/Plugins/ALR.ini, until you added more images to your source path and want them generated!

HOW TO CONFIGURE:

There's an ALR.ini in F4SE/Plugins.

ImageSourcePath =

leave empty to use default, which is just F4SE\Plugins\ALR_Image_Dir , which is shipped with the mod.

fill in if you want to use a custom path, for example: ImageSourcePath = E:\Pictures\Fallout 4 Loading Screens\ALR_Image_Dir

EnableLoadingScreenGeneration : true or false,to generate loading screen images every time you launch Fallout 4. Will overwrite previously generated images in a new random order each launch

Whitelist: A feature in which you can configure which load screen (hexFormID) to use which generated texture file. No other unconfigured Loading Screen will use this texture image.

;To use the Whitelist, do index:formID:PluginName.esp = inputfilename

;start the index with 0, this creates 0.dds in Textures\Interface\ALR_Backgrounds. Just start from 0 and increment down, do not change this to a crazy value, as it maps to the generated texture file.

;formID is the loadscreen record you want to replace, do not use load
