📋 About This Mod

This mod is part of an potential series of mods called "They're Masterworks All" - where I make mods that I like and find enjoyable. This mod involves stat adjustments.

I made a series of mods for DD:DA called MME or modding made easier - because it was a pain in the dick. Going into Dragon's Dogma II, I wanted to mod it as well. They're Masterworks All (you can guess the rest of the quote), is a series of mods designed around making the game more enjoyable.

This mod was loosely influenced by other mods but I forgot what they were.

Mandatory Requirements (Not Optional):

- You need Fluffy's Mod Manager.

Sof (Optional):

- This mod should probably be paired with REframework scripts that make the game harder. I don't have a list at the moment.

- A degree of reading comprehension (you might be ignored otherwise)

The following are theories from modding DD:DA. I can't say if they are the same. People claim this or that hasn't gotten their pawn invalidated, that it's fine client side, but what happens when the person renting your pawn also has the same mod in question?

I don't know myself in DD2, yet. If you use mods that are not pawn safe, I recommend you keep your pawn set to private/offline.

Modifications that are likely not pawn safe:

  • []Augment Modifications

    []Job Correction Modifications

    []Stat Growth Modifications

    []Beetle Modifications

[]Anything else that modifies a pawn's stats, knowledge, etc directly

Modifications that are likely pawn safe:

    • []Augment Modifications that are only hybrid vocations

[]Random Modifications like jump height, revive speed, throw height, knockdown recovery

      []Skill Modifications

[]Lua Script versions of pawn safe stuff

[]Things that don't affect a pawn's stats directly (hair changes, armor changes, booba mods etc)

I published this mod over a year ago and originally it was some "let's undo all the negatives and make positive numbers bigger" mod. I didn't quite understand 100% what the system was, and I had a user comment to me about it. I was mean to him, but looking back at it he was right on the mark, so I decided to remake it.

      My changes explained:

      1) I don't like vocations losing encumbrance because they wear a robe or some shit. They either don't gain any, or for the ones that are strength based, gain a little more.

      2) I don't like vocations having high negative numbers but I also didn't like removing the negative stat adjustments completely, so I cut them in half or by quarters.

      3) For some of them, I even increased the negative loss - to account for an increase
