Myrmidon - Unique Moveset for NPCs (Bestiary Add-on)

• []A number of unique NPCs have new moves in their arsenal, including some non-combat NPCs. Full list at the bottom of the description.[/]

  []HP and Knockdown Resistance are significantly buffed for most of them, with some having a higher threshold of staggers. For example, if you trigger a "medium stagger" on Beren, it will cause a "small stagger" instead, showing how tough and steadfast he is.[/]

  []Special behaviors given where it's fitting. For example, some of them received immunity to being "repelled," which is when the weapon bounces off a surface; some others cannot be picked up or tripped off a ledge by normal means; etc.[/]

  []Non-combat NPCs cannot use their new moves unless they're accompanying you. This is caused by their vanilla AI package and there's nothing I can do about it.[/]

  []Lanzo and Raghnall are closer to real boss fights thanks to these features. Additionally, when fighting Lanzo, Raghnall, and Darragh, they'll have proper boss HP.[/]

• []Download the mod and install with Fluffy Mod Manager.[/]

ABOUT BALANCE

• []All the NPCs affected got a significant buff, which means they will be powerful allies if you take them in escort quests, or when they're present during quests (like Raghnall during Tensions on the Highroad, or Beren in Beren's Final Lesson). They're not very balanced because, unlike pawns, they have no stamina and run on cooldowns instead. You may expect some of them to solo bosses![/]

  []As Beren, Lanzo and Raghnall can be fought against, their changes make them closer to real boss fights, so don't be surprised if they catch you by offguard the first time around. Test your might and your wit to adapt like you would in a first playthrough, and you'll find victory. If you can't defeat them in the first playthrough, there's always the next one after you become more powerful. I highly recommend to come prepared before facing them.[/]

  []Simple Difficulty Tweaks and Custom Difficulty Tweaks have no individual parameters for NPCs, but they are affected by global multipliers. If you have global multipliers changed in your preset to make things harder, you'd want to bring those back to vanilla stats for these fights or else it becomes unbearably unbalanced.[/]
