Better Muscle Normals

Better Muscle Normals is a simple texture mod that aims to improve the normal muscle map 8 for females (both Human and Beastren).

What was changed:

- Extensive work to fix seams. This texture is no walk in the park, some compromises, and choices, had to be made to ensure the mod is seam free. Some areas that could, or should, receive light and shadow work, ended up with no changes other than the vanilla map due to how the joining of parts works. That being said…

- Further muscle definition improvement work was done in areas that were lacking in V1, such as the base of the back, waist bones, and attenuation of areas that were overshadowed, such as the feet.

- The vanilla design was kept as much as possible at the moment, and we only changed areas that were very problematic in terms of anatomy realism. That said, now that we have better control of the seams, we have plans to develop a new texture from scratch, taking into account community feedback. This version, however, will only be developed after we deliver the male texture in V2. 1.

- Male Texture Released. It changes muscle map 36.

- Compression artifacts from the original texture were cleaned.

- The contrast was increased to enhance muscle definition.

- The following areas received light treatment and redesign to present a more realistic and pleasant anatomy: abdomen, mound of Venus, back, and legs.

Our next goals

Original textures from scratch for V3.

This mod is compatible with all available nudity mods, and we recommend that it be used in conjunction with them. The only mod so far you need to be worried about is Beethy's Unofficial Dragon's Dogma 2 Texture Patch. Install that mod before, and Better Muscle Normals after, overwriting some of its files.
