Sunlight Reshade

Summary: This Reshade preset alters light by adding godrays effect to bright areas. HDR enhances this effect, and darkens most colors.

Reshade version: 0. 18. 0. 833

Active algorithms:

- godrays : a form of bloom that adds light rays rotating around screen center

- HDR : a mimic attempt of actual HDR

- grain : adds an active graininess to the image

- FXAA : fast and light antialiasing

- technicolor : attempts to mimic the look of an old movie

- vibrance : intelligent pixel color saturation / desaturation

- dither : attempt to simulate more colors than the monitor can display

Installation:

- extract archive inside the folder with the main EXE file (i.e. Right Click - > Extract Here)

Uninstallation:

- remove extracted files (or more simply remove/rename d3d9.dll if running on 32 bits or dxgi.dll if running on 64 bits)

Notes:

- the additional sunlight on menu writing / menu selection / map selection comes from the godrays effects and is intentional

- the HDR makes light stronger and colors darker, but should not be very strong

- the graininess should be barely visible, but should add a pinch of impression of realism

Update: Added a godrays focused variant. Removed HDR and technicolor, since it would alter the white-colored content and it would kind of burn the eye. Increased the size and visibility of godrays. Especially visibile when staring at the sun (the map will also display godrays if staring at the sun when opening the map). Should also be visible around white writing in the menu. Also added ambient light algorithm which adds adaptive screen dirt and heat haze based when light is intense. Also added rainbow colored lenzflare which is visible around the godrays. Overall lighting is rather intense.
