LOD Tweaks

Adjusts LOD (level of detail) settings to improve visual quality. The game will use LOD 0 more often for objects in the environment (higher poly), will use lower quality LODs (lower poly) further away now. Setting tweak only.

Please see images for the example that annoyed me the most. Note the missing swords on the statues > swords with the LOD settings tweaked.

Most noticeable in that area in Val Royeaux but works everywhere.

Have not tested all areas, if you get anything weird related to this mod, please let me know.

There may be some performance impact on low end PCs, but nothing I have noticed on my end.

Compatible with everything as far as I know.

Install with Frosty Mod Manager.

Frosty only.

12/06/2025: A side benefit of this mod I have noticed in my game is that hair mods made in the old daimod format now work in locations like the Black Emporium. Previously you could not see them because of the LOD settings used in some DLC locations. This mod may help with that, although not extensively tested or verified.
