HUGE UPDATE

This update is all about gore you can actually keep. Corpses now stay on the

battlefield, executions were reworked and synced with direct melee kills, every

weapon kill follows one of three gore tiers, and shield rush turns demons - and

entire fodder crowds - into flying chunks. New cleanup timers keep all that

carnage from tanking the framerate, and dazed demons now take full damage so

every kill reads clearly.

-Added shield rush kills and shield-rush executions now burst demons into

full-body FBG chunks, with an extra-strong launch for fodder-tier enemies.

-Added shield-rushing a fodder crowd: the struck demon and nearby splash

victims all explode into FBG chunks.

Weapon kills follow the same three tiers as the executions. Every group keeps

enemies fully intact while alive - gore only happens at the kill moment.

-Added gore cleanup timers: the resource-heavy small pieces despawn on a timer

while the corpses stay:

-Fodder FBG chunks: ~2 seconds (imp, lost soul, pain elemental minion,

cultist, soldier blaster, maykr zombie, tier-1 zombie)

-Regular gore chunks (heavy / superheavy / titan): ~4 seconds

-Heavy / superheavy / titan FBG chunks and severed limbs: ~2 minutes

-Kept Pinky as a heavy (not fodder): its FBG chunks persist for 2 minutes. The

Pain Elemental boss's FBG keeps its full effect with no cleanup.

-Result: "battlefield piled with corpses" feel without fodder mass-gibs

wrecking the framerate.

Description

Super Brutal DOOM is a pure declaration mod. This mod fixes the long-standing issue where executions in the game feel too soft, enemies fly off like ragdolls when executed, and the overall impact is completely lacking. And This mod also makes the enemy's daze mechanic more similar to that of DOOM: Eternal, thereby giving players more opportunities to execute demons. It does not modify the executable and does not require a DLL. Every Glory Strike now rips through far more of the target: limbs, legs, wounds, weak-point chunks, and destructible flesh pieces all activate at once.

## Installation

1. Close the game.

2. Download `Super_Brutal_Doom.zip`.

3. Copy the zip into `DOOMTheDarkAges\mods`.

4. Run `AtlanModLoader.exe`, or enable the mod through `DarkAgesModManager.exe`.

5. Launch the game normally.

## Uninstallation

1. Close the game.

2. Delete ` Super_Brutal_Doom _v0. 45. 0.zip` from the `mods` folder, or disable it in the mod manager.

3. Re-run `AtlanModLoader.exe` / `DarkAgesModManager.exe`.
