Improved Fissure for D2RMM

Improved Fire DruidThe Fissure skill for the Druid is a very popular build path but it has the same inconsistent hit pattern like Blizzard for the Sorceress. The frequency of the rifts on the ground is very slow and the rifts cover a big radius. This leads to a feeling of randomness when using this skill.

Sometimes it kills everything in a few frames and sometimes it does kill nothing with unlucky placement.

This mod changes the Fissure skill to create a more consistent coverage of the rifts.

Changes

• []frequency of the rifts is increased by 6

  []damage is reduced to ~33%

  []radius is reduced by 30 %

  []mana cost is now 18 on base level and +1 per level

• the hit detection now uses a different function for consistent coverage of the rifts

  Those changes aim to deliver a more fluid gameplay experience while playing with Fissure due to increased reliability and predictable behavior. Additionaly the mana cost now increase per level as the vanilla values had very little impact on mana gameplay.

  Combine this mod with my other Druid mod Improved Volcano for a more fluid Fire Druid gameplay.
