Installation Option 1: UXM
-
[]Unpack and patch your game with UXM(https://www.nexusmods.com/sekiro/mods/26). For a guide on how to do this, follow my guide for the Blue Fire mod that does the same thing: https://youtu.be/UhBLERBh70g?t=134
[]Drag and drop the folders from your chosen color into the "DARK SOULS III\Game\" directory(The folders should be named things like "sfx" and "parts")
- []Install Mod Engine(https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls3/mods/332)
- Drag and drop the folders from your chosen color(The folders inside should be named things like "sfx" and "parts") into your mod engine mod folder(Found in modengine.ini). Usually it is "DARK SOULS III\Game\mod", check your ModEngine.ini to make sure you have the right override folder)
These are just sfx file replacements that don't change the code or effect the save data of the game. There are completely safe to my knowledge online if installed with UXM. Use UXM & Mod Engine at your own discretion

- Covers a wide range of common effects, not just one or two
- Lightweight and purely cosmetic, no gameplay impact
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in January 2021, may be outdated for current game versions
- Only one armor recolor included, so armor variety is limited
For players who want to freshen up the look of common visual effects without changing gameplay. Ideal for those who enjoy subtle cosmetic tweaks and don't mind a mod that hasn't been updated in a while. Skip if you're looking for new effects or major overhauls.
