📋 About This Mod
Main Quest Identifier simply adds a text on prompts from the main quest to easily identify which quests are involved in the main story. Because refusing one of those can lock you out of the story, I felt the need to add this to easily distinguish side quests from main quests given by the main NPCs. The first quest logs of main quests are also identified as such.
(Remember that meeting with Brisienna is optional and will not lock you out of the main quest if you fail it)
INSTALLATION
First, make sure you have installed or updated Daggerfall Unity to the 1. 0. 0 version.
Either install using Vortex Mod Manager or install manually as described below.
Extract the content of the archive to the StreamingAssets of your Daggerfall Unity directory.
Example : \DagUnity\DaggerfallUnity_Data\StreamingAssets
The quest files will be in Quests. Since it overwrites the the game's quest files, the original version of these files is provided if you want to remove the mod.
UNINSTALLATION
In the "Quests\MQIOriginals" folder, take the quest files and move them back to "Quests", which will revert the files back to the originals.
SAVE GAMES
Compatible with both new and old save games.
CONFLICTS/KNOWN ERRORS
Not compatible with any mods affecting the main quest, for obvious reasons.
Compatible with Dynamically Progressing Main Quest, if you've choosen to follow the main quest.
