TL;DR

This is just a small world edit that clears collapsed southern branch of the storm channel access tunnel and decorates it to match the vibe of its northern sibling.

If you choose to drive to the meeting with Meredith Stout during The Pickup, you will now be able to make a left turn and arrive at the location from behind her SUV.

Additionally, I opted to put some more garbage at the split of two branches, partially blocking the vanilla one—this should naturally encourage you to take the new way in. Rest assured: both are still perfectly navigable, but it feels much easier to enter the channel via the new branch and exit via the vanilla one.

Limitations

There are a couple of minor issues with this mod, which I might fix, if I ever figure out how.

The tunnel leading to the fork in the road is pretty long. So long, in fact, that the LODs for the blockades kick in (unless you have mods that extend the draw distance). This is a mere visual bug that you might not even notice depending on how fast you drive.

Similarly, you might be able to find a spot along the channel, from which the exit will also appear fenced off.

Volumetric fog

While I tried to set up lighting to mimic the existing fixtures in the tunnel, if you look closely enough, you will notice that there is no cone of illuminated fog under them.

Indestructible trash

Unfortunately, as far as I am aware, there is currently no way to use World Builder to add destructible objects into the environment. Thus, part of various bits of trash scattered around the tunnel is indestructible, unlike their vanilla counterparts.

Meredith's driver's driving

Since Meredith's SUV takes the same road out of the channel, its path is ever so slightly obstructed. This should not have any effect on the story. Arguably, unless you really book it, noclip your way into the walls, or hitch a ride on top—you will probably not even see it. Still, I should mention that sometimes their car will catch a side of a discarded refrigerator, back up a bit, and then drive around it.

Maybe that guy is getting fired after the op is done :D ?

If you want to try your hand at world editing (or if you have a better idea for what to do with this space), feel free to grab the `archive/pc/mod/StoutFromBehind-Removals.xl`. That file alone should give you a clean tunnel with nothing in it.
