Slots Should Be Clean

This is a very simple tweak.

This mod modifies the properties of weapons looted from defeated enemies and item crates to maximize customization and potential.

[ Feature ]

Always Empty Weapon Mod Slots: When you loot a weapon with mod slots, they will always be empty. No more pre-installed weapon mods blocking your customization—you are free to install your preferred mods immediately.

[ Please Note ]

Testing: While I have tested this extensively, I may not have covered every single scenario. However, it works as intended within the tested scope.

Exceptions: Some weapons that do not follow standard loot tables (such as those used by Cyberpsychos or specific quest NPCs) are not affected by this mod.

Slot RNG: The number of mod slots (0–2) remains random, following vanilla game logic. You may still find weapons with no slots.

Attachments: Scopes and sights may still come pre-attached in some cases.

Existing Items: This mod does not affect weapons already in your inventory. Only newly looted weapons will have empty slots.

[ Installation ]

Extract the downloaded ZIP file.

Drag and drop the r6 folder into your Cyberpunk 2077 main game directory.

[ Uninstallation ]

Delete the c3_slots_should_be_clean folder located at: Cyberpunk 2077 > r6 > tweaks
