📋 About This Mod
Notice: Line numbering has been (hopefully) temporarily removed, as the feature wasn't working as intended... I will be attempting to re-implement this feature sometime soon, but I can't promise I'll be able to... I guess enjoy the nice clean text window for now, at least...lol
Aside from just taking notes in-game, you could also use this to take notes outside of the game (to read in game) by editing the "notes#.txt/scripting.lua" files with any text editor (such as Notepad, for example)... This can even be done while the game is running in the background... The script saves the text to the file any time you close the overlay, then loads the text any time you open it... You can also save any time by clicking the "save file" button at the top of the window next to the file select buttons...

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Handy for quick scripting without alt-tabbing (93 endorsements, 4k downloads).
- Combines note-taking and command execution in one tool.
- Lightweight utility that doesn't overhaul your game.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires CET (Cyber Engine Tweaks) to function—no standalone option.
- No detailed documentation or examples provided by the author.
- Last updated in February 2024—may not be compatible with future game patches.
For Cyberpunk 2077 modders and tinkerers who want to run console commands or Lua scripts without leaving the game. Also handy for players who like keeping in-game notes. Skip if you're not using CET or prefer full-featured script editors.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure CET is installed and up to date before adding this mod—it won't work without it.
- Use the notepad to test simple console commands like 'player.inventory.addItem' before scripting.
- For Lua scripts, place them in a folder you can reference with dofile, and use absolute paths to avoid errors.
