📋 About This Mod
New "Always Blue Display" and "Always Red Display" addons available... These force the color to stay blue or red (duh...lol)... These can be mixed with either main file or used with vanilla... Only install one of these addons (if that's not obvious)...
Note that the lighting is different in the "Always Blue" screenshot because I reinstalled my Vanilla Env Lighting 2 mod since taking the older shots... The lighting in the other screenshots all look a bit different to each other due to the differences in brightness/contrast of the displays... The game just does that with any slight change... Of course, it will only do this around police cars, though...
An "Always Red Display" addon will be coming soon, but I gotta go do other things for now...lol

A compact visual mod for police car displays, removing the red LED background for a cleaner LCD look. With 94 endorsements and 4,021 downloads, it's a niche fix for players bothered by the default display aesthetics. Last updated August 2025.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 94 endorsements and over 4,000 downloads
- Directly addresses a common aesthetic complaint about police car displays
- Lightweight and focused—does exactly what it says without bloat
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects police car displays—if you wanted other vehicle changes, this won't help
- No screenshots or detailed previews in the description, so you'll have to test it yourself
- Limited to a single visual tweak; may not be worth it if you rarely use police cars
For players who spend a lot of time in police cars and are bothered by the default red LED displays. If you're into visual polish and want a more realistic LCD look, this is a quick fix. Skip if you don't care about vehicle display aesthetics or want broader visual overhauls.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since this is a simple visual mod, make sure to place files in the correct game directory—check the mod's file structure before dropping it in.
- If you're using a mod manager, enable this mod after other visual overhauls to avoid conflicts with display textures.
- Test in a police car during a mission or free roam to see the change immediately—no need to restart if the game supports hot-reload.
