📋 About This Mod
The design for Second Heart revival I find to be lackluster; enemies will continue to shoot and hit you even though you are "dead". Where does that leave you? As a human piñata as soon as you are eligible to be shot/hit again. This is especially a problem if the player has modded/increased enemy damage ratio, essentially making the cyberware useless as V will die in 1-2 hits after revival.
MOD FEATURES
This mod changes the behavior of the hostile NPCs around V when dying, causing them to...you know...think V is dead and stop attacking. However, they won't go back into a passive/neutral state. When Second Heart kicks in, V can actually react after reviving, as enemies may even have their backs turned...
Additionally, the Second Heart death has an alternate animation; final death means V will be on his/her back while Second Heart death is V on lying on his/her front, feigning death. No more wondering if you're going to revive or not.
INSTALLATION
Install requirements. Install mod with Vortex or drop folder in your Cyberpunk 2077 root directory.

- Huge download count (909k+) shows it's a must-have for many players
- 1,617 endorsements means the community backs this fix
- Lightweight tweak that doesn't overhaul the game, just makes NPCs react smarter
⚠️ Cons
- Description is thin—no details on exactly what changes, so you're flying blind
- Last updated in 2023, so might not be compatible with the latest patches
- No install instructions or requirements listed, so you're on your own if you hit issues
For Cyberpunk 2077 players who use the Second Heart cyberware and hate seeing NPCs ignore the fact you just got back up. If you're a completionist who wants more immersive combat reactions, this is for you. Skip if you never use Second Heart or prefer full gameplay overhauls.
