📋 About This Mod

Ever notice how bad-mannered V can be when visiting people?

No 'thank you,' no 'goodbye' — just a silent, rude walk-off after finishing business.

This mod fixes that by making V behave a little more decently.

Now, after leaving a vendor or NPC’s place, V will say a short, natural line - like "Thanks" or "Catch you later" - so the interaction feels more human.

What it does:

  • []Makes V give a natural-sounding “thank you” when dealing with vendors (upon exiting their respective menus).[/]

[]Additionally, V may say a “goodbye” when leaving the vendor.[/]

[]Uses various forms of "thank you" and "goodbye" at random to make it sound more natural; hence, these are in quotes in this list.[/]

[]V may say “Bye” to Judy when leaving her apartment.[/]

[]V may say "Bye" to Misty when leaving Misty's Esoterica.[/]

[]V may say "Bye" to Kerry when leaving him in his villa.[/]

[]V may say "Bye" to Panam, Saul, Carol, Mitch, Bob, Teddy or Cassidy when visiting them in Aldecaldos camps.[/]

[]V may say "Bye" to River in his yard.[/]

[]V may say "Bye" to Fixers when visiting their quarters.[/]

[]V may say "Bye" to Claire in The Beast In Me race events.[/]

[]V may say "Bye" to Rita Wheeler when spot.[/]

[]V may say "Bye" to Max Jones when visiting him at Regina's HQ.[/]

[]V may say "Bye" to Hasan Demir (if PhL installed and its gig completed in a way making him own an apartment).[/]

[]V may say "Bye" to Briana at Longshore Stacks massacre memorial (if PhL installed and its gig completed in a way allowing the post-quest conversation). [/]

[]Multilanguage support: Uses original dialogue lines and voiceovers in all spoken languages supported by the game.[/]

    How to use it:

Once installed alongside Requirements, the mod requires activation. While it’s designed to activate automatically sooner or later, you can trigger it earlier yourself.

There are two ways to activate it:

    • []Automatically by visiting any of V’s apartments in Night City (Note: the Dogtown hideout is not a Night City apartment)[/]

[]Manually by calling Regina Jones (just start a call and hang up).[/]

You can also disable/re-enable the mod or change its settings in the mod’s CET overlay window, and in the Native Settings UI (if installed).

How to tell if the mod is active:

Check the mod’s settings menu in CET overlay or Native Settings UI (if you have it installed) - it should show “Talking Support is Active.” if the mod is activated.

If not, and your game is already loaded, you can activate it by calling Regina, or by visiting any of V’s apartments.

Once activated, the mod will remain active for the rest of you
