📋 About This Mod
What this mod does:
-
[]Makes thrown melee weapons stay stuck in things for up to 5 minutes
[
]Please be aware that this sometimes can look a bit weird if you stick someone in the leg/arm/face with a knife and then dismember them; the knife will remain attached to the main body and not the dismembered limb.[]Mostly just looks awesome though.
What this mod does not do:
-
[]Change vanilla 2. 0 throwing weapon gameplay and recovery in any way, other than visuals.
[]You can pick up your knife or axe, but a copy will stay behind.
[]Just like normal, a knife can only be picked up during the reload cooldown of your weapon.
[]If you throw one knife, reload, and throw another, the first knife cannot be picked up.
This is made obvious by removing the interaction highlight from weapons that can no longer be interacted with.
Requirements:
-
[]Redscript (I think this is the only dependency, lemme know if I am wrong)
Install:
-
[]Extract to game directory.
[
]You should end up with a mod located in Cyberpunk 2077\r6\scripts\PersistentThrownMelee\PersistentThrownMelee.redsCompatibility:
-
[]Not compatible with any mod that uses redscript to change the MeleeProjectile class.
I want a redmod version pls?:
