This is not

a virus, trojan, or any other kind of malware.

However, it moves files on your hard disk, which malware also does. Many antivirus programs can't tell the difference ("False positive").

How do I know you're not lying?

You can see the entire source code on github. Use the bat to exe converter on the script and compare the generated files.

If you can't tell: this mod is auto-quarantined every time I update, and has to be manually reviewed by a Nexus moderator every time I update. (I also am a Nexus moderator - you decide if it makes me more or less trustworthy.)

  []Purge all mods[/]

• []keep it off until you have a working game. Do not hit deploy. Do not launch the game via mod manager. Doing either will reset everything you just did.[/]

If your computer won't run .bat files for some reason, you can find an .exe in the optional files (if Vortex and your virus scanner will let you — it's literally the same as the script, you can check the source code on github and/or compile your own executable if you want).

Why is this better than a clean install?

Unless you delete the game folder, a reinstall only removes game files. Since many mods provide extra files, that means that your "clean" install will already be broken.
