📋 About This Mod

KIROSHI OPTICS THERMAL VISION

Three thermal signatures. Built into your Kiroshis.

▍ OVERVIEW

Kiroshi Optics Thermal Vision turns every Tier 3 or higher optic into a three-mode thermal imaging system. People stand out immediately while the rest of Night City remains readable.

▍ THERMAL MODES

  • []Normal Thermal — a classic heat-map view built for quick target acquisition.[/]

[]Red/Black Hot — deep blacks with aggressive red heat signatures.[/]

[]White Hot — a stark monochrome view with bright human silhouettes.[/]

The mod checks every equipped eye slot. Vanilla and compatible modded optics qualify automatically when they are Tier 3 or higher, including optics installed through additional cyberware slots.

    ▍ CONTROLS

    • []F10 — activate or deactivate Thermal Vision.[/]

[]Left Shift + F10 — cycle modes while Thermal Vision is active.[/]

Activation and cycling are separate commands. The selected mode is remembered when Thermal Vision is switched off, so F10 always returns to the mode you last used.

Keyboard and controller buttons can be changed under Mod Settings → Kiroshi Optics Thermal Vision. Both commands support optional modifiers.

      ▍ NIGHT VISION INTEGRATION

The integration is included in the main download and supports Kiroshi Optics Night Vision Mod or True Night Vision.

When the selected Night Vision system recognizes the equipped optics, Thermal Vision's activation command becomes one shared spectral control:

      • []First press — Night Vision.[/]

[]Second press — your selected Thermal Vision mode.[/]

        []Third press — off.[/]

Thermal Vision's separate mode-cycle command continues to switch between Normal Thermal, Red/Black Hot, and White Hot.

Each Night Vision mod keeps its own optics and battery rules. The provider can be changed or disabled under Mod Settings → Kiroshi Optics Thermal Vision → Integration.

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

Kiroshi Optics Thermal Vision turns Tier 3+ Kiroshi optics into a three-mode thermal imaging system for Cyberpunk 2077. Players can toggle Normal Thermal, Red/Black Hot, and White Hot via customizable keybinds, with Night Vision integration for shared activation. Requires five framework mods and updated August 2026. Small but focused mod with 14 endorsements.

✨ Key Features

Adds three thermal modes: Normal Thermal, Red/Black Hot, and White Hot.
Automatically applies to any Tier 3 or higher Kiroshi optic, including modded optics in additional cyberware slots.
Default controls: F10 toggles thermal vision, Left Shift + F10 cycles modes.
Keybinds and controller buttons can be changed under Mod Settings → Kiroshi Optics Thermal Vision.
Integrates with Night Vision: first press activates Night Vision, second press activates selected Thermal mode, third press turns off.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Recent update (August 2026) means active development and likely compatibility with current game builds.
  • Three distinct thermal modes give real flexibility for spotting enemies in different lighting conditions.
  • Seamless Night Vision integration keeps one shared activation button for both systems.

⚠️ Cons

  • Only Tier 3+ optics qualify, so early-game characters can't use it until they upgrade cyberware.
  • Requires five separate framework mods—more setup than a simple drag-and-drop file.
  • Only 14 endorsements so far, meaning limited community testing and feedback on edge cases.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Cyberpunk 2077 players who want tactical thermal vision without replacing their Kiroshi optics, especially those already using the Night Vision mod. Good for stealth or combat builds that rely on quick target acquisition through clutter. Skip if you're early in the game or prefer minimal mod dependencies.
📦 Install:Medium· 10-15 minutes

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Install all required framework mods (ArchiveXL, redscript, Codeware, TweakXL, Mod Settings) before enabling this mod.
  • After loading a save, open Mod Settings and set your preferred keys under Kiroshi Optics Thermal Vision if F10 conflicts with other bindings.
  • If using the Night Vision mod, remember activation cycles Night Vision → Thermal → Off, so the first press may not show thermal immediately.
