The Nerve, addiction, and other various mechanics that Dark Future portrays each come with negative status effects and are presented as problems to be solved. This mod does not engage in the "glorification of real-world substances that would cause physical harm to a person", and does not " ... depression in a way which romanticises, glamorises, glorifies or normalises it".
