Cop Killer

Cop Killer has several features. Most are detailed here in an order mirroring the Mod Settings options.

Police Stat Reporting

Cop Killer tracks and saves your police kills, MaxTac kills, and police vehicles destroyed and reports these stats back to you on-screen, when able. You will receive updated stat reports after you or your wanted status have expired.

Cop Killer also tracks your police kills and police vehicles robbed more immediately, in your activity log, if you have the option enabled.

A "police kill" includes/counts: patrol officers, tactical officers, NCPD robots, Netwatch, MaxTac, border guards, and border guard robots.

Police Combat Systems

Introductions: You can introduce yourself to Night City's police, who may react differently based on your Street Cred.

The Severe Problem with Authority Bonus: Once your experience fighting NCPD's corrupt police force increases and your infamy as a cop killer gets around, the police falter more in combat against you based on the pressure they're under. This results in a bonus to all damage against them (and against police vehicles) based on your current street cred level, your current wanted level, and your total police kills:

- 50+ Police Kills, 10+ Street Cred: +1% Damage per heat level

- 100+ Police Kills, 20+ Street Cred: +2% Damage per heat level

- 150+ Police Kills, 30+ Street Cred: +3% Damage per heat level

- 200+ Police Kills, 40+ Street Cred: +4% Damage per heat level

- 250+ Police Kills, 50+ Street Cred: +5% Damage per heat level

Anarchist Vanguard: Destroying a police vehicle sends a powerful message to Night City's downtrodden, in the form of a fireball: that the forces in charge may be outgunned; that a new social order may be attainable; that freedom from corrupt institutions may be just magazines away. This violent beacon invites capable individuals nearby to join you in battle.

- Street Cred 2% chance that nearby violent citizens (gangers and mercs) ally with you after you destroy a police vehicle

- Allied citizens gain +25 health, armor, damage, and accuracy when allying; +10 per additional vehicle destroyed

- Allied citizens gain +10% crit chance vs. Pinged police while quickhacked; +5% vs. tagged police, post-quickhack duration

Underfunded Dept. Mode: Word has gotten around that mercs and gangers are joining forces to take on the worst of the worst cops in Night City and the bodies have started piling up. Politicians want more cops for less Eddies and nobody's biting. Not worth the crummy paycheck. Not worth living in body armor and looking over your shoulder every day.

- Less elite units show up during heat waves. You can expect enforcers with rifles and shotguns assisting MaxTac during Heat 5 only
