📋 About This Mod
Description
Originally, in this scene V engaged with Grayson's goons first, Rogue helped out, then the player had the opportunity to approach Grayson and fight him as well, with Rogue on his side. Since 2. 0, as soon as the combat starts with the goons, Rogue sprints over to Grayson (no heed to bullets flying) and no matter how quickly V finishes the goons, Grayson is already defeated by the time you get to him.
This mod restores the removed Grayson fight as seen in old playthroughs, e.g. here - and applies other fixes in the scene, including an Ebunike exploration dialogue that has never been seen since Patch 1. 2!
Main features
This mod currently does the following:
-
[]Fixed an issue where auto-combat triggers too far from the enemies (regression in Patch 1. 2, fixed in 1. 63, regression AGAIN in 2. 0). The fix from 1. 63 "Chippin' In - It is now possible to examine all of the clues on Ebunike before becoming detected." is now implemented correctly (revealing a fourth clue in the container in the southwest corner of the ship.) The combat line is now where the rows of containers end, as it was in 1. 0-1. 12[/]
[]Fixed an issue where Rogue ran over to Grayson before the objective "Defeat Grayson" could be activated by the player. (regression in 1. 2)[/]
[]Johnny's comments on the Malorian now trigger a few seconds delayed from when auto-combat starts, to make it a believable reaction to the gunshots, and avoid overwhelming the player in the first second of the fight[/]
[]Fixed an issue where the far Malorian gunshots were muted[/]
[]Fixed an issue where Johnny would appear to comment on the Malorian facing away from the player (and also not triggering the objective "Defeat Grayson") if the player triggers fight from the middle of the ship[/]
[]Fixed an issue where, after Johnny's instruction to take the gun, the player had to move away from the scene and then return for the prompt to appear (regression in 1. 2)[/]
