📋 About This Mod
If you feel the reward for the tedious and long Cyberpsycho questline from Regina is underwhelming, you are not alone! As a remedy, this mod introduces a new iconic frontal cortex cyberware to get as the reward for said questline:
Salamander
-1. 25% to -6. 5% Cooldown instantly for all cyberware after neutralizing an enemy.
Cumulative with:
-
[]Newton Module
[
]AxolotlThe cybercapacity cost (12) is way lower than it is for the Axolotl, so on its own it can be considered as a "cheaper" Axolotl alternative with slightly less cooldown reduction (-6. 5% at T5++)
OR
It can be equipped together with Axolotl, in which case the Tier 5+ Salamander will add up to 12. 5% cooldown reduction (this used to be the 5++ Axolotl bonus before it got nerfed to 7. 5% in the 2. 1 update). The 5++ Salamander will add up to a total of 14% cooldown reduction, which is more than it was ever before since 2. 0

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Cooldown reduction is always useful, especially for quickhack or cyberware-heavy builds.
- Stacks with Axolotl, so you can get even more uptime on your abilities.
- Recent update (Jan 2025) means it's likely compatible with the current game version.
⚠️ Cons
- Only 102 endorsements, so it's not a widely tested mod—could have hidden issues.
- If you're not doing the Psycho Killer questline, this mod is useless to you.
For Cyberpunk 2077 players who want a tangible reward for completing the Psycho Killer questline, especially those who rely on cooldown-heavy builds. If you're a completionist or enjoy optimizing your cyberware loadout, this is a nice addition. Skip if you don't care about quest rewards or prefer gameplay overhauls.
