United States vs. China Date/Time: 12th October 2025 / 02:00:00 Zulu Location: South Pacific Playable Sides: United States Introduction Since their decision to withdraw from Thailand, the Chinese have focused their resources on the South China Sea and protecting the gains that they have made in Vietnam. They are mustering a last ditch effort to get Vietnam to the negotiating table do work a deal that is being brokered by the Russians. The United States and Australia are looking to help the Vietnameese get themselves into a good leveraged negotating position. So far, there has been no threat at all toward Taiwan, and Taiwan has made it clear that they intend to maintain "Status Quo". In other words, officially remaining a part of China while continuing to operate as an independent country. As long as Taiwan maintains that posture, no action is expected there. Scenario Notes This is a large scenario encompassing a 48 hour action by the United States with a little help from the Aussies. It involves a pair of Carriers working together, stealth, hypersonic weapons, and good old fashined torpedoes. This is mostly about just blowing stuff up. Scoring Victory is based on accumulating points for destroying things while losing a few as possible. Strategic Objectives have much larger point values.
