Settings Plus

Change ASKA's difficulty settings on an existing save. A Settings Plus button in the pause menu opens the game's own world-customization options — the ones that can still change after the world exists — grouped into tabs, with a description for every setting.

This is a work in progress.  I am still going through and testing each setting. Let me know if you find any issues!

Installation

We highly recommend Vortex. Install ASKA Mods with Vortex

Then you can just click Mod Manager Download and be done.

If you install mods by hand, you clearly don't need instructions. ;-)

Usage

Open the pause menu and click Settings Plus (between Settings and Save). Pick a tab, change a setting, and hover any setting to read what it does.

• []Costs settings (building and crafting cost, durability, decay, gathering and yields) take effect as soon as you close the screen.[/]

  []Every other setting (invasions, monsters, enemy stats, weather, wildlife, fishing, villager survival) takes effect the next time you load the save.[/]

Save the game to keep your changes. Settings that only apply when a world is created (terrain, vegetation, start season, starting player and villager proficiencies) are not shown.

Configuration

Settings live in

BepInEx\config\mugsy33.settingsplus.cfg(created on first run), under the

section. Edit it with the game closed.

  Known issues

  • []Host only. In a multiplayer game only the host sees the Settings Plus button, because world settings belong to the host. Confirmed in single-player; multiplayer has not been tested.[/]
