The enemy is moving quickly to attempt a breakthrough. Your combined Mechanized and Armored task force (designated TF FLANDRE) is being deployed to counterattack the advancing enemy force in a meeting engagement. --- 2) Mission: ATTRIT TF REMILIA while gaining CONTROL over the marked areas to plug the gap and prevent the enemy from penetrating into our rear areas and disrupting operations. --- 3) Execution: Due to ongoing air attacks, you are arriving to the area later then the enemy, expect them to be much closer to the objectives than you - you will likely have to push them off by force. --- 4) Friendly Forces TF FLANDRE consists of: Mechanized infantry operating from BMP-2M, T-152 Shir, ZSU-57 SPAA, M106 Mortars, MiG-17U Swarm support, and recon squads operating out of BTR-82A. Long range artillery is on call for support, but due to the likely presence of engineering vehicles (due to the failure of aerial mine drops to slow the advance) command has decided to concentrate FASCM on other sectors. --- 5) Enemy Forces: SIGINT suggests TF REMILIA is almost entirly composed of Jordanian units operating as part of NATOMEDCOM. Given this, likely oppostion will include Mechanized infantry in Marders, Challenger 2 tanks, and Scorpion and Scimitar recon vehicles.
