North-Eastern Switzerland

This area of Switzerland is a perfect summary of the terrain found in the entire country. Consisting of large hill chains, long valleys, steep inclines and big mountains with many lakes, rivers and streams. The northern half of the map is heavily urbanized. Despite this, it might be considered the most vulnerable area to a would-be invader, since it is not directly protected by a large river or mountains. This map is based on the newest data and does not reflect the period of 1961-1991. I made this map with my Swiss Armed Forces mod (not yet released) in mind, which will feature the modern Swiss Army.
