PERFORMANCE MONITORING & SAVEGAME BACKUPS

A previously reported late-game performance issue has been investigated together with the affected user. After analysing the available logs, the issue appeared to be caused by other factors and there was no indication that Star Command – Fleet Careers was responsible.

Nevertheless, Star Command is still an actively developed Alpha mod with persistent savegame data. Please keep backup copies of important savegames before installing or updating the mod.

Performance behaviour remains under observation.

Star Command - Fleet Careers turns your pilots into persistent fleet officers with ranks, service records, awards, command history, major operations, rank bonuses, losses, recoveries, and a living fleet archive.

Instead of treating pilots as disposable crew, Star Command gives your fleet a long-term identity. Cadets become veterans, officers earn decorations, commanders rise through the ranks, lost pilots are remembered, and legendary careers become part of your empire’s history.

Tested with X4 8.x and X4 9 Beta.

Requires SirNukes Mod Support APIs.

UPDATE - COMMAND OPTIONS REWORK

This update focuses on player-requested configuration options and expands the Star Command settings menu.

Several systems can now be adjusted more directly from the Extension Options menu, making it easier to tailor Star Command to different playstyles, save lengths and roleplay preferences.
