Description:

This is a small utility I built for my own modding workflow that I decided to share with the community. It scans your mod folder and automatically identifies fields that require localization. From there, you can easily add, edit, or delete keys before encoding them with w3strings. If your mod already contains localization files, the tool can decode them instantly, allowing for quick and seamless updates.

Visual Editor: Decode existing .w3strings files and edit them in a list view.

Auto-Compiling: One click generates files for all supported game languages.

Dark Mode: Includes a toggle for Light/Dark themes.

Installation:

Unpack the tool to a folder of your choice.

Important: You must place w3strings.exe by rmemr in the same folder as this tool.

Run w3strings_GUI_Enhanced.exe.

Requirements:

This tool requires the original w3strings.exe to function. It works for all versions of The Witcher 3 (Classic & Next-Gen).

How it Works:

This tool acts as a wrapper. It reads your input, creates the necessary formatted CSV files in the background, and feeds them into w3strings.exe to generate the final encoded files. It respects the original key names found in your XML/files to ensure compatibility.
