📋 About This Mod
Have you noticed that when Geralt or another character comments on something, and at the same time a hint pops up to read a book after picking it up, if you start reading it, they do not stop talking, although the game is paused? Then this
All my mods were made in OG (
1. 31/1. 32 game version), and then the changes were transferred to NG (
4. 04+ game version) scripts. I always post two separate versions in one archive if necessary. If there is only one version in the archive, it is universal. If the mod is only for OG, I will especially note this.
Description in English:
When you enter the pause menu or any other menu (inventory, map, etc.), the sound is paused along with the game. Now the same thing happens when reading books and notes outside of the inventory.
Also works with the great Action Log and Dialog Log (Dialog Log NEXT GEN) mods as they use the same mechanics as the books.
Suitable for both OG and NG as the affected script was not modified.
Installation:
Place the modSoundPauseWhenReadingBooks folder in the Mods folder. Optionally use 'Witcher Script Merger' to resolve conflicts.

При входе в меню паузы или какое-либо другое меню (инвентарь, карта и т.д.) вместе с игрой на паузу ставится и звук. Теперь то же самое происходит при чтении книг и записок вне инвентаря.
Также работает с прекрасными модами Action Log и Dialog Log (Dialog Log NEXT GEN), поскольку они использую ту же механику, что и книги.
