Manual Install Instructions

Let me know if you have any problems installing with the Witcher 3 Mod Manager

Extract the SmoothMovement.zip

Within the extracted folder, there is an install_mod.bat. As long as install_mod.bat, run_powershell_install.ps1, snippets folder, mods folder, and bin folder are all contained within the same folder, double click install_mod.bat and this will install the entire the mod. It will automatically find all your Witcher 3 directories. It will delete any previous smooth movement content. It will copy/paste the content from the mods folder and bin folder. It will merge with any documents to add lines from the snippets.

The uninstall_mod.bat will remove all smooth movement content from your directories. Files within mods folder, dlc folder, bin folder. And lines within documents that were merged with smooth movement content.

* If, for whatever reason, the Witcher 3 mods manager or my install_mod.bat isn't working for you, create a mods folder within your Witcher 3 directory if you don't already have one. Delete any previous smooth movement mods from your mods folder and dlc folder. From the extracted folder copy the mods and bin folder into your Witcher 3 directory. Overwrite any files. It should only have to overwrite the .xml because you deleted the old content from your mods folder. Then you will need to add the lines, from the documents in the snippets folder, into the appropriate documents. input.settings directory should be something like ...\Users\...\Documents\The Witcher 3\input.settings. dx11filelist.txt and dx12filelist.txt should be in something like ...\The Witcher 3\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc
