Improved Gamepad Controls - Exploration

This mod simply changes a few of the exploration controls to more reasonable buttons which allow for more precise and free movement. This controller layout will allow you to do things such as look around and control the horse using the right-analog stick, especially useful while sprinting. This change has also been applied to boats (R2 to sail, double tap & hold to sail faster). To see all of the changes made to the controls, please take a look at the uploaded images or read the full list of changes below:

Note: All sections are optional and can be installed separately.

Swimming Sprint/Swim Faster: Right Trigger/R2 Dive: X/SQUARE Surface: Y/TRIANGLE Grab ledge/boat: Press/Tap L3 (Left stick)

Horseback Sprint/Canter: Right Trigger/R2 Jump: A Axii Sign: Y (You can use X for horseback combat, the sword moves are the same with both X and Y.)

Boats Sail: Right Trigger/R2 (Double-tap to increase speed)

Exploration Jump: Press/Tap L3 Call Roach: Double-tap R3 Ignite/Extinguish: Hold A

Installation

1). Navigate to C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\The Witcher 3 and create a backup copy of input.settings. This way you can revert back to the old controls if you don't like the changes. 2). Download the RAR file and open the folder of which changes you want (Choose from folder names)

3). Extract the modified input.settings to the location in step 1 and overwrite the existing file.

4). Download the Input_QWERTY file and copy/overwrite the 3 files to "Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\r4game\legacy\base".
